The University of Wisconsin football program followed up its most encouraging performances of the season with what was undoubtedly its most disappointing, falling 30-0 to Iowa at Kinnick Stadium.

After upsetting Lincoln Riley and the No. 16 USC Trojans in Week 8, the Badgers were thoroughly outplayed in a rivalry game that continues to expose many of the same problems under Luke Fickell.

Wisconsin managed just 235 yards of offense, rushed for 52 yards on 24 attempts, committed three turnovers, and failed to score. Iowa controlled possession for more than 36 minutes, generated 362 total yards and converted eight of its 15 third-down opportunities.

It was Wisconsin’s fourth consecutive loss to Iowa under Fickell, with the Badgers getting outscored 124-16 in those meetings.

The Pro Football Focus snap counts and grades offer a little more context into what went wrong, particularly on offense, where Wisconsin struggled to establish any consistency. Defensively, several individuals graded out exceptionally well despite the lopsided result.

Here’s what stood out at every position from Wisconsin’s Week 9 snap counts.
