First, a lot of those looks aren’t truly uncontested. Even when a defender isn’t right on you, there’s still pressure, closeouts, timing, rhythm, different release windows. Second, volume and difficulty play a role. The more threes you take, especially off movement or late in the clock, the harder it is to sustain elite efficiency. Fatigue is part of it, too. Legs go, especially over the course of a season, but I’d say it’s more about shot quality, consistency, and the types of attempts players are asked to take within an offense than just being tired.
