There’s always going to be a ton of turnover in personnel and recruiting departments. Everyone’s scrambling for an edge in this new era, and relationships get used to poach these types of guys all the time. They’ll bring in someone who’ll do great, I’m sure. Can’t blame a guy for taking his shot at the NFL when the opportunity comes.
The clear upgrade in the new regime is in its recruiting infrastructure. They clearly know what they are doing there. Being 'poached' is the ultimate compliment and though it hurts, it also makes us a destination for 'up-and-comers'.
One can only hope that soon we will see the results on the field.
That’s really well said, I couldn’t agree more. Being poached by the NFL isn’t just a loss, it’s a sign that Wisconsin is doing something right behind the scenes. This staff has made huge strides modernizing the recruiting department, and while turnover is tough, it also means people are taking notice. Now the next step is turning that internal progress into results on the field. We’ll see what this season brings. Appreciate you reading and sharing your perspective.
This is very troubling to say the least, negative stuff seems to be constant plus do not see it on the Basketball side
