Wisconsin Offers 2025 In-State Forward Xzavion Mitchell

Greg Gard and the Wisconsin basketball coaching staff have been tracking Team Herro 16U forward Xzavion Mitchell for a while now -- and it appears they've seen enough to pull the trigger.

After an impressive showing during the July evaluation period — and a game day visit to Madison, the Badgers extended a scholarship offer to the 2025 in-state forward from Oshkosh (WI).

Mitchell, a 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward, is a four-star recruit, according to Rivals, On3, and ESPN. He currently has one known division-one scholarship offer from Cal Poly -- but more are sure to follow. He's also heard from Marquette, Iowa State, Belmont, Green Bay, Appalachian State, and Illinois State.

During his sophomore season at Oshkosh North High School, Mitchell averaged 22.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 4.4 assists on 46% shooting from the field en route to first-team all-league honors in the Fox Valley Association.

Why Xzavion Mitchell Makes Sense For Wisconsin

The Wisconsin basketball coaching staff has been keeping a close eye on Xzavion Mitchell for a while now, and honestly, it's shocking that he doesn't have more offers.
