Wisconsin MBB Offers 2025 In-State Center Will Garlock
Greg Gard and the Wisconsin MBB coaching staff offered 2025 center Will Garlock after their annual advanced camp.
It always felt like it was a matter of time before Greg Gard and the Wisconsin basketball program through their hat in the ring on 2025 center Will Garlock out of Middleton (Wis.).
After getting a closer look at the unranked 6-foot-11, 215-pound center at their advanced camp, the Badgers coaching staff pulled the trigger and offered him a scholarship, according to a report from Prep Hoops scout Michael Hansen.
"It's kind of a dream come true," Garlock said.
As a sophomore at Middleton High School, Garlock averaged 11 points and six rebounds per game for the Cardinals but has seen his stock rise considerably this summer playing for Wisconsin Playground on the AAU circuit.
As it stands, Garlock holds scholarship offers from Marquette, Virginia Tech, and now Wisconsin but has been hearing from Iowa, Iowa State, Purdue, Minnesota, and Belmont as well.
Why Will Garlock Makes Sense for Wisconsin
Considering how Wisconsin basketball has scouted, recruited, and developed big stretch men over the past 20 years, sending out an offer to Will Garlock seems like a no-brainer.
