Wisconsin MBB: Greg Gard’s 2024 Recruiting Big Board
Share

Madison, Wis. — Greg Gard and the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball program put together a strong 2023 recruiting class and currently sit in a good spot with several key 2024 targets as they enter the spring evaluation period.

As it stands, UW has already received a verbal commitment from three-star forward Jack Robison from Lakeville North High School in Minnesota. According to 247Sports, he’s the No. 144 overall player in the 2024 cycle and the No. 33 SF in the country.

Typically speaking, the spring evaluation period is when Wisconsin gets aggressive in establishing its board, continuing to build relationships with prospects, and getting recruits on campus, hoping to close before July when the blue blood schools tend to get into the mix.

Coach Gard and his staff expect to take three or four players in the 2024 recruiting cycle. However, that number becomes increasingly cloudy with the transfer portal and the fluid nature of rosters in college basketball.

Having Robison in the fold allows the Wisconsin men’s basketball program the flexibility to put the full-court press on his top-of-the-board targets, which we’ll get to in a moment while casting a wider net in search of Plan B fits.

Here are, in no particular order, the three recruits Coach Gard will prioritize the most in the 2024 recruiting class moving forward.
