Wisconsin football’s running back depth is becoming dangerously thin
Injuries during fall camp have decimated the Badgers' running backs, forcing them to add bodies from other positions.

The running back group for the Wisconsin football team looks vastly different than a season ago.
The staff went into the portal and revamped the room, snagging four new backs after an injury-plagued, statistically lackluster 2025 season in which Darrion Dupree led the team with just 363 rushing yards.
Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten a really good look at what many of the new guys can do because the injury bug is infecting the room, forcing the coaching staff to get creative.
