Spring practice is winding down for the Wisconsin football team, and with it comes a clearer picture of where things stand.

I’ve got another round of mailbag questions to work through, and this one hits a little bit of everything. We’ll get into whether the Badgers offense can produce their first 1,000-yard rusher since 2022, if there’s a true No. 1 receiver that can emerge in this offense, and what to make of a unit that’s still trying to prove it can take a real step forward.

We’ll also touch on what it means for the program after Wisconsin went without a pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. There’s also some early buzz around true freshman quarterback Ryan Hopkins and what he’s shown so far this spring.

Let’s dive in.
