Mailbag: Wisconsin football's NFL Draft concerns, WR1 search, and freshman QB buzz
Can Wisconsin produce a 1,000-yard rusher? Is there a true WR1? Plus, a Ryan Hopkins discussion and what the Badgers’ NFL draft drought means.

I’ve got another round of mailbag questions to work through, and this one hits a little bit of everything. We’ll also touch on what it means for the program after Wisconsin went without a pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. There’s also some early buzz around true freshman quarterback Ryan Hopkins and what he’s shown so far this spring.
Let’s dive in.
