Wisconsin Football Lands Commitment From 2023 3-Star TE Tucker Ashcraft
Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers added a three-star tight end out of Seattle, Washington, to their 2023 recruiting class.
Madison, Wis. - Just one day after earning two verbal commitments, the Wisconsin football program has found new life on the recruiting trail under head coach Luke Fickell.
On Tuesday, after taking an official visit to Madison this past weekend, Luke Fickell received a verbal commitment from three-star tight end Tucker Ashcraft out of Seattle, Washington.
Per the 247Sports Composite, he's the No. 1,387 overall prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, the No. 61 TE in the country, and the No. 19 player in Washington.
Ashcraft, a former Colorado commit, re-opened his recruitment on Dec. 5 and decided to change course after CU hired Deon Sanders - opening the door for UW to capitalize.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound TE chose Wisconsin over offers from Colorado, Air Force, Eastern Washington, Idaho, Idaho State, Michigan State, Northern Arizona, and Washington State.
