Wisconsin flips 2025 Michigan State tight end commit Emmett Bork
The Badgers were able to flip 2025 in-state tight end recruit Emmett Bork away from Michigan State.
Wisconsin Badgers head coach Luke Fickell and his staff have done it again, flipping yet another prospect from a Big Ten program in the 2025 recruiting class—this time, landing an in-state product.
Oconomowoc (Wis.) tight end Emmett Bork announced he’s flipping from Michigan State to the Badgers and becoming the 25th verbal commitment in Wisconsin's 2025 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-6, 245-pound tight end fielded offers from Illinois, Indiana, Rutgers, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, and Army, among others, before deciding to make the switch to Wisconsin.
Bork, a three-star recruit, was brought in for an unofficial visit during Wisconsin’s blowout win over Purdue. The visit made a lasting impression, and Bork returned to Madison for the highly anticipated matchup against No. 3 Penn State, which ultimately sealed the deal for the Badgers.
Bork’s pledge also gives position coach Nate Letton his second tight end commit in the 2025 cycle, alongside Nizyi Davis out of Indiana. It’s also worth noting that Bork is now the sixth in-state player to commit to the Badgers, joining Michael Roeske, Cooper Catalano, Torin Pettaway, Grant Dean, and Erik Schmidt.
During his senior season, Bork recorded 17 receptions for 198 yards and two touchdowns for the Raccoons. This comes after a junior year, where he notched 22 catches for 322 yards and three scores.
According to the composite recruiting rankings, Bork is considered by talent evaluators to be the No. 1,284 player in the class of 2025, the No. 68 tight end, and the No. 13 player in the state of Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin football team's 2025 class ranks 27th nationally and features five blue-chip recruits, three of which are on offense and two on defense.
