Wisconsin football lands Oklahoma State transfer cornerback Eric Fletcher
Former Oklahoma State cornerback Eric Fletcher has committed to the Wisconsin football program via the transfer portal.
The Wisconsin football team’s cornerback room is going to look a lot different next season, and that rebuild now includes its first major addition of the transfer portal cycle.
Oklahoma State transfer cornerback Eric Fletcher announced his commitment to the Badgers after one season with the Cowboys. Fletcher chose Wisconsin despite reported interest from several Power Four programs, including Clemson, Texas A&M, Georgia, and Pitt, giving the program a needed infusion of size and upside on the outside.
Fletcher checks in at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, and arrives in Madison with three years of eligibility remaining after coming off a redshirt sophomore season. A Fort Myers, Florida native, he began his college career with the East Carolina Pirates, where he appeared in three games, recorded one tackle, and retained his redshirt while continuing to develop physically.
His role expanded significantly after transferring to Oklahoma State.
