It's been a busy couple of days for the Wisconsin football program, ladies and gents, but fear not because BadgerNotes can help get you back up to speed with a roundup of some important news you may have missed.

Wisconsin Badgers Lose a Quarterback

According to a report from The Athletics Jesse Temple, Wisconsin football will have one less signal caller in its quarterback room when spring practice rolls around.

After being told he could compete for the starting QB job, the coaching staff reportedly changed their tune, and because of that, sixth-year senior Chase Wolf is no longer with the program.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound QB threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns with five interceptions in 13 career appearances for the Badgers. He also completed 57.9% of his passes during his Wisconsin football career and carried a 100.8 career passer rating.

With the off-season additions of Tanner Mordecai, Nick Evers, and Braedyn Locke, it was highly unlikely that Wolf would be more than veteran depth.

Chase, we'll always have the Guaranteed Rate Bowl and that wild final drive against Minnesota; best of luck in whatever comes next.

Wisconsin Badgers Announce the "Dudes of the Week"

When Luke Fickell took over the Wisconsin football program, one of his top priorities was bringing Brady Collins over from Cincinnati as the new strength and conditioning coach to help set the tone, build a culture, and continue their tried and true development program, most of which takes place in the weight room.

"We're a big proponent of competition," Collins told the WSJ ..."You're gonna come into the weight room, and you're going to compete with yourself, no doubt, your boys around you. But there's got to be something to set the tone and something to really keep that … winners win, winners want to compete, they want to be challenged."
