With the Wisconsin men’s basketball team’s offseason calendar starting to hit a bit of a dead period after roster movement, portal decisions, and retention battles dominated the conversation for the past few months, the focus now shifts toward a much more interesting question: what exactly is this team capable of becoming once summer workouts officially begin?

We’ll talk about which returning players feel primed to take meaningful jumps, whether the Badgers’ Moneyball approach is truly sustainable long term after losing John Blackwell, and how confident I actually am that this roster is capable of getting back to the NCAA Tournament again next season.

Let’s dive in.
