Source: Wisconsin men's basketball fading in Kon Knueppel recruiting sweepstakes

Wisconsin MBB fans might not love the update a plugged-in recruiting source shared with me.

Kon Knueppel has a hectic month of September ahead of him. The five-star in-state shooting guard has scheduled official visits with Marquette, Wisconsin basketball, Alabama, Virginia, and Duke. The expectation is that a decision will come in late September or early October. 

Given the heavy hitters involved in Knueppel's recruitment, Wisconsin Badgers head coach Greg Gard knows he's fighting an uphill battle. Regardless, UW's coaching staff has maintained quiet confidence throughout this process.
