Wisconsin basketball lands highest-ranked Minnesota recruit in program history
Four-star Minnesota wing Baboucarr Ann committed to Wisconsin, giving Greg Gard the highest-rated recruit of his tenure.
The Wisconsin men’s basketball program has landed the final piece of its 2027 recruiting class. Months of relationship-building and persistence ultimately paid off in securing a player the Badgers coveted.
Four-star wing Baboucarr Ann out of Osseo (Minn.) announced his verbal commitment to Greg Gard and Wisconsin.
Ann’s pledge gives the Badgers their highest-rated high school commitment of the Gard era and, based on the composite, would rank among the top four high school signees in program history since the advent of the online recruiting rankings.
