Wisconsin Badgers Play Complementary Football, Blowout Rutgers on the Road
[Podcast] Has the Badgers football team finally turned a corner?
On this week's episode of Talkin' Badgers, the boys react to Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers football program, putting together a complete team effort and dominating the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 42-7 on the road.
After back-to-back blowout wins, the Badgers are now 4-2 on the season, and we've begun to see tangible signs of growth on both sides of the ball. Is this showing indicative of the T.E.A.M. they could become under coach Fickell?
"This is a team that's getting better, and just like I said last week, it's exciting to win, but it's exciting to see things continue to grow in front of our own face, and that's where I'm as happy and as proud as anything," Fickell said.
"I saw it this week during practice… with guys that were dinged up and guys that wanted to be back out there... whatever role was placed in front of them, they were going to take. And I think that's where we're starting to see this culture continue to form in front of our face."
I’ll tell you what: it looks like this Wisconsin football team might have a little more juice than we initially gave them credit for early on. Are they starting to form an identity? It sure feels like it. We’re seeing them come together, playing complementary football, and this is exactly the kind of growth you want to see heading into the remainder of the season.
