Why Badgers basketball signee Andrija Vuković landed at Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State has signed former Badgers commit Andrija Vuković.
After months of speculation, former Wisconsin Badgers basketball signee Andrija Vuković has officially put pen to paper with Oklahoma State.
Vuković initially committed to Greg Gard and the Badgers back in June following his time with KK Vršac in the Serbian Basketball League.
The 6-foot-11 Serbian big man averaged 6.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game on 65.8% shooting from the field during his stint there.
Vuković was initially expected to join the Wisconsin basketball team's front-court rotation behind starter Steven Crowl and sophomore Nolan Winter.
However, rumblings of "paperwork issues" were said to be preventing Vuković from making it to Madison. Once the Badgers added Italian center Riccardo Greppi into the mix on August 9, it became clear that Vuković was no longer coming, and the program removed his profile from the team site.
