With the Wisconsin men’s basketball team’s roster now largely in place, the offseason conversation shifts from who’s coming in to what this group can actually become once they begin preparation for next season.

So, I’ve got a new set of mailbag questions to dig into, and this one leans into how the Badgers roster is built heading into the 2026–27 season.

We’ll get into whether or not the Badgers have enough top-end talent to compete at the top of the Big Ten, how important Owen Foxwell is to making this whole thing work, and where the biggest remaining need sits with one roster spot still open. We’ll also touch on the bigger-picture question of how Wisconsin is navigating the current NIL landscape.

Let’s dive in.

Q: Now that Wisconsin’s roster is mostly in place, what’s your biggest question mark or concern about how this team is built heading into 2026-27?
