While I cannot wait for BBall, I think it going to be exciting.. year, I have pretty much given up on Football already, The only thing I saw was a good kicker and a fair quarterback and a couple of good runs But when the competition gets tougher i think they will fold like a paper garbage can.. Womens VB looks shaky but hopefully that will come about.. On Wisconsin.. AZ Badger
I’m with you on basketball. There are enough new pieces and legitimate competition for playing time that I’m really interested to see what this group becomes once they get on the floor together.
Football certainly hasn’t given anyone much reason for confidence under Fickell, and the schedule is only going to demand more from them. I’ll defer to those who follow volleyball more closely than I do, but hopefully things come together there as well. On Wisconsin!
I understand the skepticism. This is essentially a brand new team with a lot of new contributors, and there’s some healthy competition for those rotation spots. It’s really hard to know what their ceiling is until we see how all those pieces fit together on the court. The lack of a Sweet 16 under Gard is absolutely a narrative that will continue to grow until they change it, but I’d never say a first-round exit is the ceiling for this group before we’ve even seen them play.
