Best Bets: Wisconsin Badgers vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys
The Wisconsin Badgers take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl; here are the best bets for the season finale.
To say it’s been a disappointing year for the Wisconsin Badgers and my personal gambling record would be an all-time understatement. However, there’s still one more chance to end the season on a positive note as the Badgers take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.
The game will take place at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:15 pm CST and will air on ESPN.Â

Best Bets
Wisconsin enters the game favored by four and a half points, with the game total set at over/under 45 points. However, both teams will be far from full strength in this game, with multiple players entering the transfer portal or opting out for the NFL Draft.Â
Betting on this game will be a little tricky since we haven’t had a chance to see a lot of the players who will be starting get significant playing time this season. Nonetheless, shooters shoot, and I’ll still have some betting action involved in this game.Â
Braelon Allen over 105.5 rushing yards (-115) – This is my favorite bet of the week. Oklahoma State allowed over 171 rushing yards per game and gave up 351 yards on the ground when they played the Kansas Jayhawks back in November. To make matters worse for the Cowboys, they will be without their leading tackler Mason Cobb, who entered the transfer portal. Braelon Allen should have his way with this defense.
Braelon Allen 1st touchdown scorer (+360) – With Oklahoma State being so bad against the run, I’m banking on the Badgers feeding Allen and hoping he’s the first one to find paydirt.
Under game total of 45 points (-110) – Both teams struggled to score points in the regular season's final weeks, and both offenses will have new quarterbacks under center. Not a great recipe for a lot of scoring.Â
Oklahoma State +4.5 (-110) – I think the Badgers will win the game, but the Cowboys will keep it close. Oklahoma State is 4-3 against the spread this season as underdogs, and although it's a neutral site, the Badgers are a disappointing 1-4 against the spread as an away team this season.Â
Wisconsin defense/special teams anytime TD (+250) – Final game of the season. Final best bets article of the season. Let's ride.Â
