I bought into the Luke Fickell hype when he was hired. I think a lot of people did. But I predicted Wisconsin to win six games this season, so I’m not sure that qualifies as drinking the athletic department’s Kool-Aid. I’ve been pretty skeptical of where this program is headed under Fickell for the better part of 2+ years now. You can acknowledge some encouraging signs without planning the parade.
